We are delighted to welcome you to Bluripa Guest House and wish you a pleasant stay. Our staff is at your disposal to solve any problems that you may encounter and to help or advise you about anything to do with our beautiful city. Should you wish, we can even arrange personalised tours and excursions to some of the most stunning destinations on the Ligurian coast.
Below you will find details of the Bluripa Guest House policies and services, as well as information that could prove useful during your stay in Genoa, such as places of interest, museums and other attractions.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in: from 2 pm until 7 pm. Please let us know your exact arrival time by email or phone.
Check-out: by 10 am. Late check-in, up to 11 pm, can be arranged at an additional cost of €10 per hour. If you require this service, please let us know when booking.
Please note: We offer a free bag storage service for all guests. However, luggage must be collected by 6 pm.
Credit card pre-authorisations for direct bookings
A deposit is required for all direct bookings and must be paid by credit card, bank transfer or postal order. The deposit may vary according to the type of booking. For Standard bookings (which can be changed or cancelled up to 7 days before your arrival), you will be charged the cost of the first night of your stay as a deposit and your card or bank account will be pre-authorised. Should you fail to pay the deposit or should the pre-authorisation be rejected, your booking will be cancelled. Full payment will be taken using the method of your choice (credit card, debit card or cash) when you check in. We will issue you with a receipt when you check out. If you require an electronic copy of your receipt, it will be sent to you by email within a few days after check-out. Please make sure you leave us your email address and any other necessary billing information.
Heating/air conditioning
Bluripa Guest House has fan coil heaters in every room. The centralised air conditioning system runs from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm until 30 September.
Tourist tax
€3.00 per person per night, up to a maximum of 8 consecutive days.
The following are exempt from the tourist tax: 1. Residents of Genoa 2. Children under 14
3. People undergoing treatment in a medical facility within the Genoa area and people chaperoning patients
4. People chaperoning patients admitted to medical facilities in the municipal area (up to 2 chaperones per patient)
5. Members of the armed forces or national or local police, as well as firefighters and civil protection officers staying exclusively for work purposes
6. Guests staying at the expense of the local authorities.
Room / building / safe keys
When you check in you will be given access keys which must be returned when you check out.
Together with your room key, you will be given a key for accessing the apartment where Bluripa Guest House is located.
A concierge service is available from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 7 pm. If you arrive outside these times, please call 116 on the intercom at Via Sottoripa 1A.
When you check in, you will be given a 6-digit access code for the building which you will need to key in to open the front door. You can use this code whenever there are no staff available to help you.
Our staff will be happy to show you how to use the keypad, and will be available if you have any questions or need any further information. The electronic safe inside each room is free to use. Please see the instructions in your room.
Parking
Bluripa Guest House is affiliated with the covered parking facility, "Marina Porto Antico," located at Calata Salumi 6R, 250 meters away from us, at the discounted rate that we will be happy to communicate at the time of booking. This parking cannot be reserved in advance. Upon parking, you will receive a ticket that must be validated by our staff to avail of the discount. You can contact us by phone before your arrival to receive helpful information regarding luggage unloading.

Available free of charge. You will find the user ID and password in your room.
