Breathtaking views in the heart of Genoa

Bluripa Guest House is located right in the historic centre of Genoa, in the neighbourhood known as the Expo Area. The rooms have been exquisitely decorated and come with a flat-screen TV, safe, mini-bar, free WiFi and air conditioning.
Bluripa overlooks what is regarded as being the liveliest part of the city, brimming with museums, attractions and restaurants, and centred around the world-famous Aquarium of Genoa. It is the starting point for numerous boat tours of the Cinque Terre and other stunning Italian Riviera destinations, from Camogli to Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
Each of the five bedrooms is equipped with an en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and hairdryer, while some also have a private balcony with sea views where you can soak up the beauty of the city both day and night. The bedrooms are kitted out with all mod cons, including one with a kitchenette.

HOW TO GET HERE

Here are the latest motorway directions following the collapse of the Ponte Morandi:
• From the east: no changes. The A12 motorway is open as usual at the Genova Nervi and Genova Est toll booths.

• From Milan: please use the A7 and exit at Genova Ovest, then follow signs to the centre as normal.

• For those coming from the West, the A10 can be taken by crossing the new San Giorgio Bridge with the recommended exit at Genoa West, and then follow the signs to the city center and the Genoa Aquarium.

The nearest train station is Genova Piazza Principe.
Genova Piazza Principe station, commonly referred to as Genova Principe (sometimes incorrectly as Porta Principe) and abbreviated to Genova P.P., is one of the city’s central stations together with Brignole station.
Named after the nearby Palazzo del Principe, it is actually located in Piazza Acquaverde, where its main entrance is, and occupies the entire northern side of Via Andrea Doria.

With its runway completely surrounded by the sea, Cristoforo Colombo Airport is the quickest and most spectacular way to get to Genoa.
On your way in to land, you will fly over the Portofino headland and enjoy stunning views over the city!
The airport is located in Genova Sestri Ponente, just a few kilometres from the centre, and is easily accessible via public transport.
To get to the city centre, take the Volabus (7 euros per person) or I24 bus (free) to Genova Principe. Taxis are also available.
